Odessa elaborates the city brand
A working group on the development of strategy for improving the image and branding of Odessa has been organized in Odessa. One of the initiators of the group and branding program for Odessa was the company Bohush Communications.
The Head of the working group is the first deputy mayor of Odessa Anatoly Vorohaev, co-chairs of the working group are Denis Bohush, president of Bohush Communications and Vladimir Kurennoy. The main task of the working group was to develop a communication strategy of Odessa at the regional, national and international levels.
Denis Bohush, the president of Bohush Communications said that “Odessa is the most colorful city of Ukraine. This impression is based on creativity, cultural, resort and commercial potentials of the city. Odessa tourist potential is enormous, and with the help of professional communication programs and the successful branding, this potential can be discovered and it will make the city the biggest tourist center in Ukraine.
The purpose of the communication strategy is increasing the investment and tourist flows, the strategic development of the city and improving the welfare of the inhabitants of the city trough the branding of Odessa, also increasing the value and reputation of the city.
Among the tasks of the strategy are: to identify the priority countries for tourism, investment and migration flows, to develop the image attributes for brand «Odessa», to develop the direction of the target PR-projects and programs at regional, national and international levels.
